Two new businesses came together in 1995 to form a $600 Million OTC Pharmaceutical company. Work processes, operating approaches, and cultures were different and often incompatible. This reduced people's ability to work together towards common goals. New vision, mission and goals were needed to provide focus and direction to employees' efforts.
Actions
Consulted with top executives to define, communicate and implement a new direction for the business. Planned & executed a high-involvement process to craft new values and create agreement on the desired culture. Organized and facilitated company-wide meetings to identify and resolve differences in philosophy, approach and behavior.
